Logo

The logo of the Iceland Pavilion is inspired by the appearance of the Iceland Paviliion at the 2010 World Expo Shanghai in two ways. The first is the square shape of the Pavilion and the second is the picture of ice that will cover the Iceland Pavilion. The Chinese characters in the Logo stand for Bing Dao (which can be translated directly as Ice Island, namely what the Chinese call Iceland in Mandarin Chinese). The Former Ambassador of People's Republic of China to Iceland, H.E. Wang Ronghua drew the characters. Ámundi Sigurðsson designed the logo.
